AKREP 100-NI, integrated into the Fire Control Radar, is a CW (Continuous Wave) X-Band illumination radar capable of generating the illumination signal required for Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) guidance. The modular architecture of the AKREP 100-NI, Illumination Radar, which provides graceful degradation and high MTBF by reducing individual error sources, provides ease of maintenance, as well as a scalable structure, providing ease of design to meet different power requirements.
