New Step Towards High Value-Added Serial
Production
ASELSAN achieved a significant capacity
increase with the Electro-Optic FLIR Production Facility, which was established
with an investment of USD 40 million.
This modern facility, covering an area of 7.000
square meters, stands out with the largest cleanroom under one roof in Europe.
The facility, launched to respond to increasing
demand, will produce electro-optical systems developed for airborne platforms,
primarily including the ASELFLIR, TOYGUN, and KARAT product families.
One of the 5 main goals of the aselsaneXt
Transformation Programme at ASELSAN is to increase serial production. In this
regard, an additional investment of USD 30 million is planned for the FLIR
production facility over the next 3 years.
The serial production of these high-tech
products, with an export value exceeding USD 20.000 per kilogram, will enhance
ASELSAN's global competitive strength, support high skilled employment, and
play a critical role in achieving ASELSAN'S sustainable growth objectives.
