ASELSAN
has become the center of attention at Azerbaijan Defense Exhibition (ADEX) in
Baku with the critical agreements it signed, including the sale of ASELFLIR-500
and TOLUN. On the first day of the exhibition, ASELSAN hosted President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at its booth and introduced the unique
features of ASELFLIR-500 Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and
Targeting System, which stands out with its superior performance in Unmanned
Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The capabilities of ASELFLIR-500 were displayed with a
live demonstration for the first time at an international exhibition.
On the sideline of the exhibition, ASELSAN
signed agreements on communication and information security systems with the
Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense; as well as Memoranda of Understanding on
electronic warfare with National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense
Industry (MAKA) and on joint production of ASELSAN Smart Munitions in
Azerbaijan with the Scientific Research Institution of the Ministry of Defense
Industry (ETI). The sale of ASELFLIR-500 and TOLUN, integrated on AKINCI, was
also realized based on the agreements signed during ADEX 2024.
