ASELSAN has introduced cutting-edge systems for enhancing air dominance including tactical data link systems from T-Link family and ASELFLIR 600 next-generation electro-optical targeting system for HALE-class UAVs at IDEF 2025 in İstanbul. The company has elevated its leadership in smart solutions for air superiority with these latest launches.
ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defense company, showcases its growing portfolio of smart air solutions at IDEF 2025, designed to empower both manned and unmanned platforms. During the exhibition, the company has introduced its new solutions that are set to deliver greater situational awareness, secure network-centric operations, and precision strike capability across complex and contested air environments.
For airborne surveillance and precision targeting, ASELSAN has launched ASELFLIR 600, its most advanced electro-optical system to date. Designed for HALE-class UAVs, it builds on the legacy of ASELFLIR 500 with a larger 25-inch gimbal, expanded aperture, and multispectral optics. Featuring AI-powered object recognition, HD multi-band sensors, and an extended-range laser suite, ASELFLIR 600 delivers superior detection, recognition, and identification (DRI) performance in challenging conditions.
T-LINK National Tactical Data Link family (T-LINK A, C, M, G) introduced at IDEF 2025 provides a secure and robust backbone for joint air operations. Designed for full interoperability across airborne, ground, naval, and missile platforms, T-LINK product family enables encrypted, electronic warfare-resistant transmission of tactical data and voice communications across mobile and fixed nodes. Through its seamless network integration, it ensures real-time situational awareness and synchronized operations under the most contested conditions, elevating both mission efficiency and force coordination.
Commenting on the launch of new systems, ASELSAN President & CEO Ahmet Akyol stated: “With the introduction of systems from our T-LINK family and ASELFLIR 600, we are redefining smart airpower with fully indigenous, future-ready solutions. These systems demonstrate ASELSAN’s ability to deliver synchronized connectivity and superior sensing, which are two decisive factors in modern air superiority. As we move toward our 2030 vision of becoming one of the world’s top 30 defense companies, we remain committed to pioneering technologies that give our forces and allies the competitive edge in the skies.”
