ASELSAN’s electronic support systems have recently proven their capabilities with the successful tests conducted on Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Baykar’s TB-2 platform conducted successful flight tests with ASELSAN’s electronic support pod ANTIDOT 2-U/S, which can detect, identify, and digitally record signals from threat air defense system radars, precisely pinpoint the threat’s direction, and ultimately locate its source.
Turkish indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles, now gaining global attention, can detect threats with remarkable accuracy, even beyond the reach of clouds and cameras, all without entering hazardous zones. Additionally, with ANTIDOT 2-U/S, platforms have acquired a defensive edge. If a radar system locks onto an aircraft carrying the pod or a nearby friendly aircraft, the system immediately detects it and alerts the operator, allowing evasive maneuvers to be performed. Field tests have delivered exceptional results, with ANTIDOT 2-U/S pinpointing the exact locations of various threats, from early warning to target-tracking radars.
ANTIDOT 2-U/S enables real-time data transfer to the Ground Control Station via the aircraft's communication link. It can be swiftly integrated onto tactical class unmanned aerial vehicles, with the flexibility to choose between mounting munitions or pods on any pylon prior to an operation. This capability significantly enhances situational awareness within the electromagnetic spectrum, minimizing risk to human life and reducing operational costs.
