The 30% increase in backlog highlights the solid foundation we are building for the future. We will continue to progress with the same determination in the second half of the year.”
ASELSAN welcomed two high-level delegations from Africa, underscoring its deepening ties with the continent. Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko visited ASELSAN’s campus in Ankara, accompanied by the Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün. These visits reflected a shared commitment to expanding cooperation through technological dialogue and defense sector engagement.
During both visits, comprehensive briefings were provided on ASELSAN’s advanced technologies and next-generation systems. Discussions focused on identifying strategic cooperation areas tailored to the specific operational needs of Senegal and Gabon. “These visits mark an important step toward fostering qualified partnerships with friendly African nations,” said ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol. “We were pleased to share our people-centered, life-enhancing technologies and explore concrete cooperation opportunities.”
ASELSAN’s broader vision to build enduring, high-impact collaborations across the African continent, aligned with long-term goals of technological empowerment and regional security has once again been powerfully affirmed.
A successful engineering launch of the HİSAR-D RF missile was conducted from the TCG İSTANBUL frigate off the coast of Sinop, using ASELSAN’s HİSAR-D Fire Control System. The launch was executed successfully through full coordination of different ASELSAN systems, demonstrating the effective integration of multiple technologies and Türkiye’s advancing naval air defense capabilities.
The target was detected by CENK 400-N 4D Search Radar and engaged via AKREP 300-N Fire Control Radar. Hisar-D Fire Control System provided an effective interception solution, with bidirectional communication enabled by GÜDÜ Missile Data Link System, guiding the missile through midcourse phase and terminal guidance using AGRAS RF seeker head.
During the launch, ASELSAN demonstrated its ability to deliver fully integrated solutions for modern naval warfare with advanced sensors and fire control systems, highlighting its critical role in the G/M engagement chain for naval operations and the strength of its engineering capabilities.
ASELSAN’s LGK 82 - Laser Guidance Kit demonstrated its exceptional accuracy in a recent firing test conducted from the high-altitude and long-endurance AKINCI UAV. During the mission, the electro-optical system on board laser-designated a stationary target, which was successfully tracked and hit by LGK 82.
LGK 82 is a guidance kit designed to convert conventional MK-82 (500 lb), OFAB-250T, and OFAB-250 LG general-purpose bombs into cost-effective smart munitions. With its semi-active laser seeker, LGK 82 provides improved precision, increased engagement range, reduced collateral damage, and the ability to strike both fixed and moving targets effectively.
This successful firing once again highlighted the integration strength of ASELSAN’s guidance solutions with advanced air platforms. The test also reflects the depth of Türkiye’s engineering vision in creating high-impact, mission-ready technologies that support evolving battlefield requirements.
ASELSAN’s T-LINK WB 10Net, a core component of the GEMS 100U maritime communication solution, achieved a major milestone with its first field demonstration at Mogan Lake in Ankara. The system successfully transmitted real-time video and sensor data between two moving surface platforms and a fixed control station, showcasing its ability to maintain secure, high-speed, and uninterrupted communications even beyond line-of-sight.
Featuring wide-band capacity, resistance to electronic warfare, and end-to-end encryption, T-LINK WB 10Net enables direct platform-to-platform links, swarm communication, and dynamic data sharing between operators and platforms. Designed for integration across manned and unmanned air, land, and naval platforms, it ensures uninterrupted ISR data exchange, enhances joint operational capabilities, and delivers future-ready adaptability through its software-defined architecture.
With upcoming sea trials and operational evaluations, T-LINK WB 10Net is ready for full integration into GEMS 100U, delivering a high-capacity data sharing infrastructure in maritime communications. Building on ASELSAN’s proven track record in developing secure, high-capacity, and electronic warfare-resilient data links for multi-domain operations, this latest achievement underlines the company’s leadership in multi-platform mesh network solutions.
