ASELSAN secures its spot in the Defense News Top 100

ASELSAN has once again secured its place among the world’s leading defense companies, ranking 43rd in the 2025 edition of the Defense News Top 100 list. Continuing to represent Türkiye at the highest level, ASELSAN remains the country’s top-ranked company in this prestigious global ranking.

With strong exports and the continued success of its game-changing technologies, ASELSAN recorded 22% growth in USD terms over the past year. Trusted by armed forces in Türkiye and allied armies around the world, ASELSAN delivers integrated defense solutions across multiple domains, including air, land, naval, and space.

As ASELSAN celebrates its 50th anniversary, this recognition highlights the company’s sustained commitment to indigenous innovation, global partnerships, and mission-focused engineering. Backed by the strength of national talent and international trust, ASELSAN continues to proudly carry Türkiye’s flag in global defense industry leadership.

ASELSAN surpasses 1 trillion TRY value on stock exchange

ASELSAN has made history as Türkiye’s first company to surpass a market value of 1 trillion TRY on Borsa İstanbul (BIST) and has secured its place as the company with the highest market capitalization in the country. This achievement reflects ASELSAN’s technology-driven production power, sustainable R&D approach, and capacity to develop systems that enhance regional deterrence, all of which have strengthened its appeal to investors.

The company’s financial performance continues to stand out globally as ASELSAN shares delivered a 247% return in USD terms since the beginning of 2024, far outperforming the Dow Jones Defense Index’s 61% growth over the same period. In the first half of 2025 alone, revenue increased by 11% to 53.7 billion liras, while net profit rose by 30% to 6.4 billion liras. Backed by contracts exceeding USD 5 billion in 2023 and 2024, ASELSAN’s order backlog climbed to a record USD 16 billion, while the company also reinforced its role by leading the BIST Sustainability 25 Index.

Driving this momentum is the aselsaneXt program, launched in 2024 to deliver best-in-class products, develop game-changing technologies, and grow through global collaborations. With nearly USD 1 billion invested in R&D annually, ASELSAN is demonstrating production capabilities matched by only a few defense companies worldwide. Marking its 50th anniversary, ASELSAN’s record market performance reinforces its vision of leading the future of defense technologies.
