Record Financial Results Mark 50th Anniversary

Concluding its 50th anniversary year, ASELSAN delivered record-breaking performance, reinforcing its position as a global defense technology leader. The year was marked by strong operational execution, growing international presence, and strategic investments in high-value technologies that strengthened long-term competitiveness.

In 2025, revenue reached 180.4 billion TL, reflecting 15% real growth year-on-year, while new order intake rose 46% to USD 9.6 billion and backlog climbed to a historic USD 20.4 billion. International deliveries increased 89% to USD 958 million, supported by more than USD 2 billion in new export contracts. Growth was driven by major programs in air defense, radar, electronic warfare, electro-optics, smart and guided munitions, naval systems, and military communications. R&D expenditures rose 40% to USD 1.36 billion, and investments in serial production increased 106% to USD 372 million, alongside the commissioning of 14 new production facilities.

Strong financial discipline further reinforced performance. EBITDA margin improved to 26.2%, the Book-to-Bill ratio reached 2.2, and net debt declined by 33%, reducing the Net Debt/EBITDA ratio to 0.30, while operational cash flow increased significantly to 49 billion TL. Commenting on the results, ASELSAN President & CEO Ahmet Akyol stated: “Our company will continue to build on the trust of its national and international users, expand its export-oriented growth strategy, strengthen serial production capabilities, and sustain double-digit growth on its path toward becoming a global brand.”

Strengthening NATO operations at STEADFAST DART 2026

ASELSAN’s indigenous technologies empowered Turkish Armed Forces during NATO’s STEADFAST DART 2026 across land, sea, and air. STEADFAST DART 2026 marked the first large-scale deployment of the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) within Joint Force Command Brunssum’s area of responsibility, demonstrating the Alliance’s ability to rapidly deploy and integrate forces in Central Europe during crisis and response scenarios.

This year, assets from the Turkish Land and Naval Forces Commands participated in the exercise with more than 2,000 troops, validating NATO’s crisis decision-making mechanisms while strengthening allied coordination, operational effectiveness, and interoperability among NATO forces, Türkiye, and ASELSAN’s advanced systems. Throughout the exercise, Turkish land, air, and naval platforms executed strategic missions equipped with nationally developed and indigenous systems, strengthened by ASELSAN’s advanced technologies. The Turkish Armed Forces Foundation highlighted ASELSAN participation stating: “ASELSAN adds strength to the Turkish Armed Forces at NATO Steadfast Dart-2026. Turkish Armed Forces’ land, air and naval platforms are executing strategic missions within the scope of the exercise, equipped with national and original systems developed by ASELSAN.”

These technologies provided uninterrupted support across three operational domains, enhancing situational awareness, command and control effectiveness, and mission reliability in full compliance with NATO standards. Integrated defense vision showcased at WDS

ASELSAN participated in World Defense Show (WDS) 2026 in Riyadh, presenting its integrated defense portfolio to international visitors and high-level delegations including Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud.

At the exhibition, ASELSAN showcased its integrated solutions led by multi-layered air defense architecture Steel Dome, electronic warfare systems, UAV payloads and naval platforms. The senior officials and delegations who visited the ASELSAN stand received briefings on the company’s ongoing programs and future cooperation opportunities. In addition, a contract was signed between ASELSAN and the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to further strengthen defense industrial cooperation and advance the strategic partnership.

ASELSAN President & CEO Ahmet Akyol also delivered a keynote speech at WDS, where he shared the company’s vision for integrated defense technologies and international collaboration. Commenting on ASELSAN’s participation in the show, Akyol stated: “At World Defense Show, we had the opportunity to present our integrated defense vision, engage with key partners and explore new cooperation opportunities. Platforms like WDS play a critical role in strengthening our international collaborations. Our Steel Dome architecture stood out as one of the strongest examples of our integrated defense approach, and we remain committed to expanding our global partnerships and building the future of defense together.”

SEDA 100 showcased on Hanwha vehicle at WDS

ASELSAN’s SEDA 100 Gunshot Detection System was showcased integrated on Korean Hanwha Aerospace’s next-generation Tigon 8x8 Armoured Vehicle at the World Defense Show, marking the first public display of the system on this integrated vehicle configuration.

The integration builds on the companies’ collaboration formalized last year through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between ASELSAN and South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace to incorporate SEDA 100 into next-generation armoured vehicles. Combat-proven across diverse operational environments and deployed in markets across Asia, Europe, and Africa, SEDA 100 uses advanced acoustic sensing to detect supersonic projectiles and pinpoint shooter locations, enhancing platform survivability and crew situational awareness in high-risk scenarios.

Designed for seamless platform integration, SEDA 100 operates effectively in all environmental conditions and provides GIS-based alerts to support real-time decision-making on the battlefield. Its calibration-free architecture simplifies installation and operational readiness, making it a highly adaptable survivability solution for next-generation armoured platforms. The joint display at WDS underscores ASELSAN’s focus on expanding global partnerships while delivering field-proven protection technologies for modern land forces.

FEWS-U successfully integrated on KIZILELMA

ASELSAN has successfully completed the first flight of its FEWS-U Electronic Warfare Self-Protection Suite integrated onto the Bayraktar KIZILELMA platform, marking a significant milestone in Türkiye’s electronic warfare capabilities.

Conducted in cooperation with BAYKAR, the flight test validated the ability of FEWS-U to enhance the survivability of next-generation unmanned combat aircraft against complex radar and missile threats. Developed with ASELSAN’s advanced electronic warfare expertise, FEWS-U enables early detection of hostile radar emissions and guided missile seekers, automatically deploying optimized countermeasures including RF jamming, deception techniques, and chaff/flare dispensing. Fully integrated with the aircraft’s mission computer and sensor fusion architecture, the suite autonomously prioritizes threats, executes countermeasures within milliseconds, and supports coordinated threat data sharing with other air and ground assets.

The system architecture includes ARIA-U 210 Radar Warning Receiver, ARK-U 210 RF Jammer, SÜMER-A 200 Suite Central Management Unit, NATO-compliant KARTACA-A 200 Countermeasure Dispensing System, and low-observable GizEM conformal communication antennas. Delivering rapid threat identification, high-accuracy angle-of-arrival detection, and 360-degree coverage, FEWS-U represents a new phase in electronic warfare capability for unmanned combat aircraft.
