Compressed Sensing

High-resolution imaging requires a high-resolution camera sensor. However, the required high- resolution sensors are either very expensive or cannot be produced due to limitations in production technologies. For this reason, it is important to obtain high-resolution images using alternative imaging methods. The most potential alternative is compressed sensing imaging, which enables high-resolution imaging from low-resolution images. With this method, coded low-resolution images are obtained from low- resolution cameras using high-resolution configurable spatial filters. Many coded low-resolution images are processed to obtain high-resolution images. ASELSAN Research Center conducts studies on compressed sensing imaging. The compressed sensing camera has the potential to radically change imaging methods.



Target Detection with Machine Learning

Today, artificial intelligence technologies are being utilized to improve target detection and machine learning solutions are being developed. Models trained using large datasets enable high-performance object detection and recognition. At the ASELSAN Research Center, important studies are being carried out to increase the accuracy of target detection and direction finding by using innovative signal processing methods compared to traditional target detection and direction finding methods.
