Alaattin Dökmen was born in Zonguldak in 1974.

He received his Bachelor's degree from Hacettepe University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1995, and his Master's degree in 1997.

Dökmen, who joined ASELSAN family in 1995, worked as a Quality Engineer at Communication Devices Sector Presidency for 2 years. After his military service, he started to work at Electronic Warfare Software Engineering Department, MST Sector Presidency in 1999. After taking part in many projects in the field of Radar Electronic Warfare Embedded Software and Algorithms for 10 years, he was appointed as Radar Electronic Warfare System Engineering Manager in 2009 and Naval Electronic Warfare Program Manager in 2014. Until 2022, he worked in many Radar Electronic Warfare Projects in different disciplines. Dökmen started working at the Transportation, Security, Energy and Healthcare Systems Sector Presidency as the Design Director in August 2022 and most recently served as the Transportation and Energy Program Director.

He was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Transportation, Security, Energy and Healthcare Systems with the decision of the ASELSAN Board of Directors on May 21, 2025.

He is married with two children. He is fluent in English.
