Air Defense Technologies
ASELSAN designs systems suitable for the layered air defense concept, in which Air Defense Weapons and Missile Systems are integrated with high performance sensor, command control, communication and fire control systems.
ASELSAN added Air Defense Early Warning and Command Control System (HERİKKS) and Air Defense Radar products to its Air Defense System solutions, which started with the Stinger Joint Production Program about 30 years ago and continued with the Pedestal Mounted Stinger (KMS) project. In this sense, ASELSAN has achieved the success of providing solutions in this field to the armies of the world, especially the Turkish Armed Forces, by producing complete systems that include the three cornerstones of the Air Defense System, Weapons, Sensors and Command Control.
ASELSAN, with its 25 years of experience in air defense, can use various caliber weapons, launch missiles and/or rockets within the scope of air defense projects such as KORKUT Self-Propelled Air Defense Weapon System, HİSAR Low/Medium Altitude Air Defense Missile System, Long Range Area Air and Missile Defense Systems. continues the design, development and production of various air defense weapon systems that can be integrated into land, sea and air platforms. It also carries out the modernization of the air defense systems available in the Armed Forces' inventory in line with current needs.
